Dr. Kimberly Perry Scholarship
Dr. Kimberly Perry Scholarship
Dr. Kimberly (Kim) Perry touched the lives of many. Kim was held in high esteem by her professional peers, her numerous friends, and her devoted family. She was a gifted scholar, receiving numerous awards, honors, and scholarships throughout her academic career. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Cloud University and her Master and PhD from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2013. After graduation she continued the work begun in graduate school as an industrial and organizational psychologist in Washington, DC.
She was very active and enjoyed traveling, cake decorating, reading and reviewing books, the French language, and Pure Barre classes. Kim was a wonderfully complex individual: graceful, poised, quietly elegant, with a dry sense of humor and engaging smile.
K-T did not hinder her from pursuing professional or personal goals. She was an active member of the K-T Support Group who participated in communications and volunteered her time to add value to several projects. Her strong desire to support others diagnosed with Klippel-Trenaunay seeking a higher education led to the creation of this scholarship.
